Approval has been given for West Middlesex University Hospital to shortly begin construction works to develop an Ambulatory Diagnostic Centre (ADC) at the back of the main hospital site, near the Park Road entrance.
The ADC will be a five-storey development and will provide clinical imaging, cancer day care, renal dialysis and education and training facilities. It will increase the Trust’s capacity to provide these services, speeding up diagnosis and treatment, which will help improve outcomes for patients in our community for years to come. The new development is designed to be an all-electric building and supports the Trust’s commitment to the sustainable development of new builds and facilities.
The Trust recently appointed a main contractor, Bouygues UK (BYUK), to undertake the construction works, which are due to start in March 2024 and complete in Autumn 2026.
In BYUK, we have appointed a contractor which is part of the Considerate Contractor scheme, sharing our commitment to working closely with local residents, schools, businesses and the wider community during the construction works.
In order to share the latest information on the development and to listen to feedback from our community, we would like to invite you to an engagement session as per the details below. It will be chaired by local Councillor Dan Bowring (Syon & Brentford Lock ward) with representation from the construction team and from Trust leadership.
ADC communication engagement session:
VENUE: Isleworth Library
DATE: Tuesday 19 March
TIME: 19:00-20:00
At this session we will explain the construction programme and logistics in more detail, and answer questions from members of the community.
We will share information on how neighbours can contact the Trust and the BYUK team directly to raise any queries or concerns.
If you would like to attend the event, please RSVP to chelwest.adcwestmid@nhs.net by Sunday 17 March.
