Join us in observing Disability History Month from 14 Nov–20 Dec, highlighting our commitment to inclusive, supportive employment as we celebrate the contributions of disabled individuals in our workforce.
From 14 Nov–20 Dec we are observing Disability History Month under the theme Disability, Livelihood and Employment. This annual event highlights the contributions of disabled individuals to our workforce, celebrating progress while acknowledging the ongoing need for fair and supportive employment practices.
Our commitment to people and inclusivity
Aligned with our People Strategy, we’re dedicated to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected and supported. Disability History Month is an opportunity to reinforce this commitment, ensuring that inclusivity and accessibility are at the forefront of our approach to both patient care and employment.
Our focus on diversity is integral to our strategy, recognising the unique perspectives and strengths each team member brings. By actively removing barriers and promoting equity, we work to create an environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Building inclusivity beyond Disability History Month
Our People Strategy’s focus on fairness, respect and growth extends beyond this month, guiding our year-round approach to inclusivity and support. Disability History Month is part of our ongoing efforts to recognise and address the diverse needs of our workforce and patient community, ensuring everyone can participate and succeed.
Let’s celebrate Disability History Month as we work toward a workplace and healthcare environment where everyone’s contributions are recognised and valued.
