The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visit vaccination centre at Westminster Abbey

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the recently opened vaccination centre at Westminster Abbey to pay tribute to the amazing efforts of staff and volunteers for their hard work and commitment to the rollout of the vaccine.

During the visit, The Duke and Duchess heard from staff about their experiences of being involved in the largest vaccination programme in the nation’s history, and of working out of such an iconic venue. The visit coincided with the National Day of Reflection – marking the one year anniversary since the first lockdown in the UK.

The vaccination centre operates from the south transept, home to the world-famous Poets’ Corner, and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is providing staff and other support.

However, please note the Trust cannot book appointments, answer questions or offer advice.
