Research, Innovation and Quality Improvement (RIQI) event to celebrate and showcase best practice across the Trust at RIQI 2022.
Building on the learning from the last two years’ digital events, Research, Innovation and Quality Improvement celebrated and showcased best practice across the Trust at RIQI 2022, with their Health Inequalities themed event.
Staff, partner organisations, patients, and members of the public were welcomed to join and hear about the many projects to improve care, patient experience, and outcomes.
The event included 12 presentations on local projects, 2 keynote lectures, and a series of short sessions on RIQI methodologies, funding sources and options to access data.
Congratulations to the winners of the RIQI 2022 CEO Award:
- Winner: Delivery of liver services within primary care can improve treatment outcomes in people experiencing homelessness by Jennifer Hannon and the Hepatology team in partnership with primary care.
- Runner up: Early diagnosis and therapy for infants at risk of neurodevelopmental disorders by Virginia Knox, Alice Hunt, Francesca Crosby.
- Runner up: WHY STOP: A behavioural approach to study the factors influencing antibiotic stop decisions in ICU. The impact of Point of Care Tests (POCT) on decisions by Prof Suveer Singh and Intensive care and antimicrobial team
