Refurbishment of 10 Hammersmith Broadway complete

09 July 2024

A refurbishment of 10 Hammersmith Broadway (10HB), one of the Trust's state-of-the-art community HIV and sexual health clinics, has been completed.

A refurbishment of 10 Hammersmith Broadway (10HB), one of the Trust's state-of-the-art community HIV and sexual health clinics, has been completed.

The clinic underwent a recent redesign which encompassed development of the first floor to incorporate two new clinic rooms within an underutilised area of the waiting room.

The new facilities are large enough to support an ultrasound machine and hence have allowed the clinical team to offer more complex care delivery, including long-acting reversible contraception for which there is significant demand across the sector.

10HB Service Director, Rachael Jones, said: “We're really grateful for the Trust's investment in 10HB. Having the increased clinic space has allowed us to offer more appointments and improve access for our service users, particularly underserved populations. It has also facilitated further development of the multidisciplinary team.”

We hope that the refurbishment of 10HB will further improve the local population’s access to sexual health services in Hammersmith and beyond.
