Public health
The Trust employs a hospital-based consultant in public health, one of only a handful of acute trusts to do so nationally, and we are a GMC-approved training location for public health registrars.
Public health report—A picture of health
The team led the production of the Trust’s first public health report, which identifies the Trust’s core catchment area and describes the health profile of the local population that we serve.

Stoptober and alcohol awareness
According to national data, one in three hospital inpatients drink alcohol at levels that could be harming their health.
This Stoptober we are raising awareness about the importance of monitoring one’s alcohol intake with some insightful videos to support and guide you. These have been produced with the support of our hospital charity CW+.
Find some useful tips on how you can live healthier and avoid risk of a range of illnesses brought on by excessive drinking.
