Chelsea Community Hospital School
Chelsea Community Hospital School is a Community Special School providing education for children and young people aged 4–18 while they are in hospital.
The school also provides places for a number of students who cannot access mainstream school due to their medical conditions and aims to ensure that children and young people have their rights to education preserved while in hospital.
Our Well at school web site provides information and advice to families and schools about how to support students with chronic or acute medical or mental health issues.
We have a school on the first floor (Chelsea) for all key stages, we provide all subjects in the National Curriculum and have both musicians and artists in residence. For young people who need to stay on the ward, a teacher will visit by the bedside.
During school holidays there is a school team who provide creative activities for all ages.
