HIV Service in Harlow
What we do
We are the HIV Service in Harlow. We offer outpatient care of HIV positive individuals including investigations and antiretroviral treatment. We can also refer patients to the many specialist HIV services at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. We share a building with Essex Sexual Health Service which is run by Provide but we are not part of their service.
Drug interactions between HIV medications and other drugs are very common. We strongly recommend checking the HIV Drug Interactions website before taking any new medications, including topical preparations and supplements.
If you need further information or advice about HIV medications or interactions, you can contact the Medicines Information Service on 020 3315 2704 or email med.info@nhs.net (open Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm).
