Sexual Health Hounslow offers same-day appointments instead of walk-in, and wait clinics for urgent problems. To book a same-day appointment, please call 020 8321 5718 or 020 8630 3295 Mon–Fri from 8am.
Emergencies and young people aged 13–18 are invited to book a same-day appointment or come in during clinic opening hours (if coming in without an appointment, please arrive no later than 1 hour before we close). Young people can also attend the Young People’s Walk-in Clinics as these will remain open.
Routine appointments will still be available for non-urgent matters—to book, please call or book online.

Same-day appointments
For urgent problems. To book an on-the-day appointment, please call 020 8321 5718 or 020 8630 3295 from 8am Mon–Fri.
- Symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection—eg pain when urinating, genital pain, blisters/sores/rash in genital area, unusual bleeding or discharge
- Sexual contact of someone diagnosed with a sexually transmitted infection
Emergency and under-18s
Can book a same-day appointment or come in during clinic opening hours (if coming in without an appointment, please arrive no later than 1 hour before we close).
- Emergency contraception—needs to be started within 5 days of unprotected sex
- Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP)—needs to be started within 72 hours of exposure
- Sexual assault within the last 7 days
- Under 18 years old
- Care experienced (Topaz)
Routine appointments
We offer booked appointments throughout the week from 9am–7pm at our three clinics for non-urgent matters. We recommend booking an appointment if you do not need to be seen urgently or if you need routine contraception, including intrauterine contraception (IUC).
- Treatment for a diagnosed sexually transmitted infection
- Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)—start or repeat
- Contraception—start or repeat (including implants and IUD/IUS fitting or removal)
- Follow-up with doctor or nurse
- Health adviser advice or information
- Sexual health testing without symptoms (sexual health screen)
We recommend booking an appointment if you do not need to be seen urgently or if you need routine contraception, including intrauterine contraception (IUC). We also have evening appointments available 5–7pm and also run a Saturday clinic at Heart of Hounslow on the first Saturday of each month. Sexual Health London (SHL)
Sexual Health London—free home STI testing kit
Sexual Health London is an online sexual health service for people without symptoms. If you do not have any symptoms, register and complete the online consultation. If the service is right for you, a free kit will be posted out. You will need to take your own samples and return them by post for testing. The results will be available in a few days.
