Global Health Media

This organisation has breastfeeding videos in different languages (currently including French, Spanish, Nepali, Swahili, lao, Khmer, Kinyarwanda) which are really useful to watch with your partner or family to help prepare you for feeding your baby. 

Global Health Media’s Birth and Beyond app includes all 28 videos on care from the time of birth through the baby’s first two years. Major topics covered are birth, breastfeeding, newborn care, small baby care, and complementary feeding (Android version coming soon).

Best Beginnings 

Best Beginnings (‘working to give every baby in the UK the healthiest start in life’) has lots of videos about pregnancy and becoming a parent including From Bump to Breastfeeding videos about breastfeeding. You can download a free Baby Buddy app for pregnancy or for new parents and they also have information for parents of premature or sick babies including the Small Wonders video.

UK Baby Friendly Initiative has a variety of videos about breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding Network

Association of Breastfeeding Mothers (ABM)

ABM are a group of trained volunteers dedicated to supporting breastfeeding families. ABM has been supporting nurturing families for almost 40 years.

La Leche League (LLL)

La Leche League trained breastfeeding counsellors (known as LLL Leaders), having all breastfed their own babies, provide support for breastfeeding families via meetings, phone calls and social media.

Bliss

Bliss offers emotional and practical support to empower families and equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to provide the best possible care to their baby, for however long they live and for however long their stay in neonatal care.

TwinsTrust

TwinsTrust offers a range of support for parents of twins and multiple babies.
