Free cancer information, support and complementary therapies for anyone affected by cancer.

How we can help

The Macmillan Information and Support Centre is for anyone affected by cancer. Whether you’re a patient, family member, friend or carer, our team is here for you from diagnosis, throughout treatment and beyond.

We want you to feel listened to, supported and informed. You can talk to us in confidence about anything you may be worried about. We can help with any questions or concerns you may have and can make sure that you have access to the right services. Our Centre is located on the lower ground floor of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, in the outpatients atrium, between lift banks C and D.

We offer a range of support services. These include:

  • Information on living with cancer, treatment and side effects
  • A range of events to support people with cancer, during and beyond treatment
  • Complementary therapies including massage and reflexology
  • Signposting to support services locally and nationally
  • Emotional support
  • Information on practical matters such as money, work and travel
  • Signposting to support groups, health and social care services
  • Information on lifestyle and wellbeing topics such as healthy eating and physical activity

The majority of our services are available to everyone, however, we can only offer complementary therapies to patients and carers of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Some of our resources are available in different formats. We also have access to virtual support in British Sign Language and a telephone interpreting service.

Opening times

The Macmillan Centre is open Monday to Friday from 9am until 4pm. It is closed on the weekends and bank holidays.

It is a drop-in service, although we recommend that you call us before you visit to ensure that someone is available for you to see. You can also book an appointment if you would prefer.
